A word from our client

We recently engaged Herbert Gould to provide a full turn key fit out service for an unfurnished house we were scheduled to move in to in Belfast. This service involved a comprehensive supply and installation service, involving everything from furniture and fittings , beds, window curtains/dressings, decorative free standing lighting, kitchen utensils and equipment, house utensils, vacuums, electrical goods including televisions and kitchen equipment, bed linen, towels and associated soft furnishings. etc. Essentially the brief involved providing a house fully fitted out, which was to be available for immediate occupation and use by ourselves. Importantly the works had to be undertaken during a very tight timeline as it was important for us to be able to move in to the house as speedily as possible. From the beginning of their appointment, Herbert Gould demonstrated a strong personal commitment to our project. Which we greatly appreciated.

 

They provided us with a range of excellent options and alternatives from their own extensive in-house resources and also their dedicated expert suppliers. We were actively and positively engaged with during the entire process , with regular meetings and visits to the Herbert Gould shop on Lisburn Road and bespoke supplier workshops as required. They had an extensive in-house range of products for our consideration and the materials and furnishings proposed were of an exceptionally high standard. With a wide range of very attractive patterns and materials available, to choose from. All meetings were scheduled to facilitate our travel arrangements and availability, and remote communications were effectively facilitated at all times as necessary. Regular visits to the house itself were made by the Herbert Gould team throughout the process. To take measurements and consider alternative arrangements and layouts which best suited the size and configuration of the various rooms. They advised us on the size of beds, furniture layouts and sizes , equipment placing etc, which would be most suitable and which would maximise the potential of the rooms. Thereafter they presented us with alternative layouts and arrangements for our consideration. They were also in attendance personally in the house at all times to take deliveries, remove packaging and oversee the installation and placing/connection of equipment such as televisions. All of which they procured, arranged and scheduled/took delivery of. This was important for us as it was not possible for us to attend at the house regularly during the course of the works involved. We were therefore very reliant on Herbert Gould to oversee and manage the whole process. And they did not let us down.

 

The works were progressed in a very efficient manner and the challenging timeline before our move into the house was fully delivered on.The finished product exceed all of our expectations. And we were delighted with the completed works. The house was fitted out to the very highest standards and no details were overlooked, even the very smallest ones. We immediately felt at home on moving in, and the house itself was fully fitted out with all equipment, utensils and furnishings etc, fully in place and connected, ready for immediate use. It has been an absolute pleasure dealing with the Herbert Gould team and a hugely enjoyable experience.

 

What stood out for us in particular was the huge personal pride and interest which the Herbert Gould team took in the finished product and their service delivery. It was a hugely collaborative and pro-active process, and we thoroughly enjoyed working with the team involved.
